Introducing Domi 10X
Since launching 4 years ago, Domi has followed a path very similar to that of a startup. First, we had an idea, a vision to become a catalyst for entrepreneurship in Tallahassee. Next we built the prototype–Domi Station–and continuously improved upon it, validating our market and our programs until we had a winning product. Now that we’ve seen the incredible impact we’ve had--115 startup teams producing $10m in revenue and attracting over $5m in investment--it’s time to scale up.
Our Vision
Our vision for the future is growth, which is why we’ve launched the 10X Campaign, the first comprehensive fundraising campaign in Domi’s history. 10X seeks to implement bold strategies that will continue to positively affect the future for entrepreneurs seeking to launch and grow new ventures in Tallahassee. We're seeking funds to improve our programs and facilities to continue to provide local entrepreneurs with the best resources and support possible. The Domi 10X Campaign aims to help us make 10 times the impact: 10 times the entrepreneurs, 10 times the startups, and to grow our community from hundreds to thousands.
Our Goal
To achieve this ambitious goal, Domi needs your financial support. Our initial target is to raise $100,000 in private donations by December 31, 2018. Earlier this year, we were awarded a Knight Foundation grant that will match private donations up to $35,000. We invite you to join us and other Domi supporters from around the city and the state as we 10X our impact for the community and for the future.
Why Now?
Domi is currently at capacity. All office spaces are full, and our educational programs cannot keep pace with demand. 10X will allow Domi to improve the entrepreneurial experience, serve as an economic engine for the city through new venture development and job creation and improve the quality of life for Tallahassee as a whole.
Is My Contribution Tax Deductible?
Yes! Domi is a 501c3 nonprofit organization, and donations are deductible to the extent allowed by law. There is no minimum gift amount, and you may choose to give a lump sum or pledge your commitment over a term of months or years.
How Will Campaign Funds Be Used?
Funds will go to support a variety of projects that will support local entrepreneurs and promote innovation, including program enhancements,facility upgrades and general operating support.
