Gear up
Turn your dreams into reality! Our Gear Up program covers the fundamentals of business to help you validate and launch your venture. Everything you would need to develop your idea into a fully functioning business venture can be found right here with a curriculum tailored to your specific needs.
There is no idea necessary to start in Gear Up. This program has a reverse classroom approach that also gives you a network of 30+ mentors, entrepreneur related events, and you can work at your own pace.
Ascend
Scale your company to success! This selective program is for entrepreneurs that have validated their business idea, have started working on their venture and are ready to take the next steps towards growth. Entrepreneurs are paired with a lead mentor to provide assistance with goal setting, creating an implementation strategy, and serve as accountability for entrepreneurs.
Ascend gives you a dedicated mentor with ad-hoc mentor hours to help with any questions or issues with your established business. This program has selective admissions and is also a 6 month commitment.
COWORKING
Enjoy 24/7 entry to Domi Station’s coworking space with access to specialized events for entrepreneurs, locally roasted coffee, fiber internet, and amazing networking opportunities with our other members. Domi Station is one of the best places to scale your business and get stuff done. FSU students can have access to coworking for $50 a month. FAMU students can have access to working for free with a letter of recommendation from a professor.
SCHOLARSHIP AND COSTS
There are 10 full ride scholarships available for FAMU Students if a professor writes you a letter of recommendation. Without any scholarships there is still a student discount for both programs. Registration for Gear Up costs $125, which provides full access for a year. For Ascend, the cost would be $175 to register and a monthly fee of $50.
